Abdul-Jabbar Skaik, the champion of the Palestinian national powerlifting team, won sixth place at the international level in the World Powerlifting Championship 2022 for juniors and sub-juniors in Istanbul, which was organized by the Turkish Federation of Powerlifting under the auspices of the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF).
The champion student, Skaik, competed in the 83 kg weight class, amid a cut-throat competition with champions from Europe, Africa, and Asia. He achieved 240 kg in the deadlift, 140 kg in the bench, and 200 kg in the squat.
It is worth noting that the student Skaik is one of the rising names in the world of powerlifting, and has achieved many local championships and participated with the national team in the Mohamed Makhlouf Championship in Libya.
