“Being an alumnus from the Vocational Training Project of Iradah Center for those who have impairments caused by injuries, I felt no more disabled.”
Many of times Hisham recalled the good old days, yet they brought about sorrow. They make him juxtapose between the excellence and creativity on graduating from the Engineering Department AND the stillness of his current disability.
He thinks of nothing but of the 6th of July of the decaying year when at the Bureige Camp’s Western Borders, his calamity took place. His own foot was hit by an explosive gunshot.
Refrigeration and air-conditioning engineering was his cup of tea before being injured. Yet, now his skies are so cloudy.
“Is there a way back?” he wondered. “How sorrowful it is to face the truth. The harsh truth that says you lost a blessing. That blessing which was the source of pride. Lost at once! To be the active person, the productive one. Abruptly, you find yourself nowhere but in beds.” By those thoughts, all hope pens congealed. And for him, grieve stopped the course of life. Therefore, the sun never rises.
“Behind the suffering, there must be a blessing.”
His life is no more that monotonous. He fights loads of painful days by this delightful lexis. Frequently, the ghost of pain haunted him, yet he sensed hope on uttering those words. Ultimately, he overcame the cage of the hospital. And pain never propped up again.
On this dreadful journey, he found the guide who lifted his weary soul again to go on with the course of his own target, distinction.
“Why not joining Iradah Center?” was a slip of a tongue regarding his friend, but for him it was a lifesaving decision. Then, passing the interview was another step for the new journey.
“The new journey was paved ways one! Awesome comrades, inspiring leaders, skillful trainers, and paid transportation. A new job is on my way. A new skill is my new gift. And no time killing anymore. It was a new major I joined which is washing machines maintenance.”
A secured life is now his fulfilled target.
There he started a new scene where he plays the hero! Hamdan has absorbed the basics of washing machines maintenance. Whether they are old fashioned or trendy ones. Other salient experiences and professional ones made manifestation how skillful he is and unfolded his excellence. Board maintenance, reassemble and assemble washing machines and changing valves are the most prominent skills he has successfully accomplished.
This training has built up his knowledge and his skill as well.
He reached the highest mountains of his own skills. This for him was a far-reaching dream, yet he has done the damn thing.
A Man of Good Responsibility
Hisham has a burden of production. Every single step he overcomes, some of the burden is released. His first and foremost burden, yet sweet and lovely burden, is how to please his eight siblings. In his home, he is the one and the only who is to fix his dilemmas especially when it comes to the impairment of the washing machines.
“I used to have washing machines fixed by a technician paying 200 NIS, while now, however, I pay 20 NIS for the purchase of tools, and keep the rest as my gift.” He felt victorious narrating that triumph.
“To be a best seller of your own craft, you have to keep a good reputation and a skillful hand. Always rehearse” besides he said that his craft was nothing but a new skill that was acquired by patience and intensive practice.
Supporters
“Allah is the first who guided me and by His providence, I have encountered many obstacles.” Very gleeful he admitted this. Besides, Hisham Hamdan sent faithful thanks to Iradah Center and the collaboration institute that inspired courage in his sinews.
His heavenly mother aided him unconditionally in this benevolent goal. Never did she surrender giving great counsels to motivate her own son. That son who also rises.
Graduation
There she stands and sees her hero’s resolution. Alongside with many mothers, she read the mirthful gestures on his countenance in the graduation ceremony.
On this exeunt, Irada Centre is giving this July a delightful face by holding the graduation ceremony. It was July once again, but never resembles the painful July. This July embraced the prolonged happy times of Hamdan and his family.
The restless skillful man by this declares that the twenty-six years young are best of age to aspire for more however the circumstance is. Independence is his new motive. “My own business in my major is what I deserve. I am my own master!” He concluded!
