Nasser Bin Hamad International Youth Creativity Award

IUG female students from the Faculty of Engineering have won the Bahrain-based Nasser Bin Hamad International Youth Creativity Award. The three IUG students investigated the possible use of Steel Wool SW as a low cost material in order to extend Highways’ service life in addition to coping with the latest international research in the field of asphalt technology, which is considered as one of the newest studies worldwide, and especially in the MENA region where there is a huge need to use it.  

Dr. Adel Awadallah, IUG President, congratulated Khadija El-Ramlawi, Nour Hassan and Hadeel Abu Aisha for winning this important international scientific prize that addressed the innovative ways of linking scientific projects with society needs.

The Bahraini Ministry of Youth & Sports declared that the number of projects that were received were 5773 projects coming from 111 countries and addressed six categories: architectural design, drawing, film production, graphic design, photography and scientific creativity.
