The Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) and the Humanitarian Care Malaysia Organization (MyCARE) have signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed by Professor Younus Al-Mughayir, Dean of External Affairs at IUG, and Dr. Ziad Shehada, General Manager of MyCARE.
The main objective of this agreement is to develop educational projects. Under the terms of this agreement, Ikram Academy will be responsible for funding the establishment of a computer lab at the IUG South Branch.
“We are grateful for MyCARE’s support for Palestinian students. This project will enhance the level of educational services offered to students studying information technology at IUG South Branch,” said Prof. Al-Mughayir.
Moreover, Dr. Shehada welcomed further cooperation with the Islamic University of Gaza to improve the quality of education. He promised more joint projects to improve work and provide the best services to students.
This project is expected to serve approximately 1570 female students at the Islamic University. The lab is scheduled to open at the beginning of the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024.
