A team from the Islamic University of Gaza has signed a cooperation agreement with Fatih Sultan Mehmet University in Turkey. The agreement aims to promote academic and cultural exchange between the two institutions. Also, it develops significant relationships with global universities.
MOU Objectives
The MOU includes actions to enhance collaboration between students at the two universities. For example, it encourages student exchange, joint research, workshops, and summer programs organized by higher education institutions.
Furthermore, the Memorandum of Understanding suggests creating joint programs for different degrees. As well as research exchange, both sides look forward to improving joint supervision and scientific research.
Professor Sufyan Tayeh was glad to sign this Memorandum of Understanding since it builds bridges between universities across the world.
He said, “This MOU is an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience. Of course, it will raise our academic level.”
Drivers of MOU
IUG reached an agreement with Fatih Sultan Mehmet University following a visit by Dr. Mnawar Najm, an assistant professor in the Education Department. The visit was made possible through the international relations department, which facilitates collaboration with prestigious academic institutions.
