IUG held the last graduation ceremony on August 21, 2023. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of the Faculty of Sharia and Law students. The event took place in the conference hall; IUG sent special invitations to the graduates’ families to share in this exceptional event. The attendants also included Prof. Nasser Farhat, the University President; Dr. Sadeq Qandel, the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law; and the faculty staff.

Loyalty and Generosity
Prof. Farhat mentioned that the Islamic university is a griffin. Even though faced with challenges, the educational institution is determined to offer the Palestinian community excellent services that adhere to Islamic values. It is a powerful representation of strength, perseverance, and dedication to excellence. The speaker emphasized that IUG will always remain loyal to Palestinian society and Auma.
In addition, the professor highlighted that the academy offers a supportive atmosphere for students to acquire knowledge, pursue research, and tackle important issues in the community. The specialized centers catering to different majors equip students with the skills required to enhance the local economy.

Alumni Speech
Speaking on behalf of her classmates, Maha Abu Saif expressed sincere gratitude to the staff of the Islamic University, especially the professors teaching in the Faculty of Sharia and Law. She acknowledged the constant efforts of every one of them that led them to the graduation stage. “In this remarkable milestone, we would like to thank our parents for their wholehearted support of our dreams and aspirations,” she said.
Excellence Award
Starting with the graduation protocol, Prof. Farhat and Dr. Qandel gave the award plaque to the student Muhammed Abu Jebba, who placed first in the Faculty of Sharia and Law with a grade of 94.31%.
