IUG Continues Graduation Ceremonies of Faculty of Arts

IUG celebrated another group of students for completing their university studies in the disciplines of History and Archeology, Geography, Geography/ Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Social Services, Journalism & Media/ Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology, Journalism & Media/ Journalism, Journalism & Media/ Digital Media, Journalism & Media/ Advertising & Public Relations, English Literature, English Language/ Translation, Arabic Language/ Journalism.

The ceremony was held in the conference hall at the Islamic University of Gaza and attended by Prof. Nasser Farhat, the University President; Prof. Elian El-Holi, the Vice President of Academic Affairs; Dr. Osama Hammad, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts; members of the IUG Board of Trustees; and members of the academic and administrative bodies of the Faculty of Arts. Moreover, the graduate students shared this special occasion with their families and loved ones.

Heroic National Endeavors

During his speech to the audience at the ceremony, Professor El-Holi highlighted that the Palestinian people should take pride in the fact that despite challenging circumstances, they have succeeded in constructing multiple academic institutions, with the Islamic University of Gaza leading the way. He said, “This achievement marks our glorious culture that appreciates education.”

“This special day is one of the most memorable days. I am pleased to share with you this special occasion. Today, you reap what you sow, and you move miles forward in the journey of life. Congratulations on your remarkable accomplishments. I wish you a future full of blessings,” he continued.

Alumni Speech

Hamza Samir Safi delivered the alumni speech on behalf of the graduates of the Faculty of Arts with a sense of pride and gratitude for the honor of wearing graduation gowns. “It is an honor to be a graduate of this prestigious university, which builds leaders and ambassadors. I will always remember the days of university studies; my best memories are there.”
