The Islamic University of Gaza continued the graduation ceremonies of the 42nd cohort. A new group of students celebrated their graduation from the Faculty of Engineering after completing their university studies in the disciplines of Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
The ceremony was held in the conference hall at the Islamic University. The attendants of this ceremony included the University President, Prof. Nasser Farhat; the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Khalil Alastal; the Board of Trustees; and members of the academic and administrative bodies of the Faculty of Engineering. Besides, the graduates shared this special occasion with their families and loved ones.

In his speech before the ceremony audience, Prof. Farhat stressed that the Islamic University has been and will continue to be loyal to the Palestinian people. It values the educational message that respects the values of Islam. He highlighted the university today leads the Palestinian, Arab, and international universities, for it includes specialized centers and well-equipped laboratories, provides the best educational quality, publishes outstanding research papers, and offers valuable services.

Alumni Speech
On behalf of the graduate engineers, Ola Harara delivered a speech expressing her pride and gratitude for being a student at this prestigious university. She sent a big thank you to her professors, family, and the ones who guided her every step of the way. “We, the students of the Faculty of Engineering, are wholeheartedly grateful for the generosity of our teachers; they spared no effort to uplift our knowledge and skills. Thank you for making us innovative leaders!” she said.
