Dr. Bishr Eqilan, Dean of the Faculty of Science at the Islamic University, received a delegation from the Consumer Protection Department and Central Laboratories of the Ministry of National Economy, including Ms. Rabab Ashour, Deputy Director General, Dr. Sahar Abu Hada, Director of the laboratory, and Mr. Nafeth Al-Khalout, from the Consumer Protection Department. The meeting was attended by Mr. Alaaden Al-Jaab, Director of the Center for Environmental and Rural Studies; Ms. Samah Abu Samra; and Ms. Amani Al-Far’a, from the Environment Center.
Dr. Eqilan welcomed the visiting delegation and emphasized the importance of such visits in strengthening cooperation, communication, and openness to the external community. He explained that the main mission of the Islamic University and the Faculty of Science is to build bridges of cooperation with the local community and various ministries. Dr. Eqilan pointed out the faculty’s openness to all its departments to cooperate in serving the local community in a way that benefits Palestinian society. He expressed his readiness to cooperate in ways that contribute to serving and advancing the community.
Ms. Ashour praised the role of the university in serving the community and the quick response of the Faculty of Science and the Environment Center to the visit. She emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in common areas to serve the community and its members.
Mr. Al-Jaab highlighted the importance of continuous communication and coordination between the Environment Center and the Central Laboratories of the Ministry of National Economy. At the end of the visit, Ms. Ashour accompanied the visiting delegation on a quick tour of the center’s laboratories and showed them the available facilities.
