The library at the Islamic University has received a significant quantity of books from the Cairo International Book Fair. The Central Library Deanship at the Islamic University of Gaza organized an exhibition entitled “New Books Received from the Cairo International Book Fair,” with the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Al-Astal, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Mr. Mamdouh Ferwana, Director of the Central Library, and a group of academics and students. This exhibition is an expansion of previous events held by the university to encourage and support students to read, gain knowledge in their fields, and stimulate scientific research.
Dr. Al-Astal commended the Central Library’s endeavors to foster an educated generation of students and emphasized the need to continually improve the library and equip it with necessary resources for academic growth. He also underscored the library’s pivotal role in shaping the community’s culture and supporting reading.
Mr. Ferwana highlighted the University Library’s commitment to providing students with diverse information sources, including scientific books and research, and delivering essential services to support the educational process and new academic programs. He further noted that the books imported were chosen by the university’s faculties according to their respective requirements.
The exhibition of new books received from the Cairo International Book Fair is a valuable opportunity for the students of the Islamic University to expand their knowledge and engage in scientific research.
