Competing colleges and universities in the “Competitive Cultural League among University Students” competition have gathered at the Islamic University of Gaza for the third round of the event. Organized by the General Youth and Culture Authority in collaboration with the Malaysian Cultural Center, the competition includes 16 institutions divided into four groups. Mr. Ashraf Meqdas, supervisor of extracurricular activities and volunteer work at the Dean of Student Affairs, and Mr. Shadi Salem, head of the Malaysian Cultural Center, were present at the event, along with representatives from the participating universities and colleges.
During the event, Mr. Meqdas welcomed the attendees and delegations and praised the efforts made by the General Youth and Culture Authority in organizing such events that strengthen relationships between universities. The competition began with a match between the teams of Al-Ribat University College and the Islamic University, while Palestine University competed against the College of Intermediate Studies at Al-Azhar University.
In the first round of the competition, Al-Awda University College won against Al-Azhar University, and Al-Israa University won against Gaza University. In the second round, Ummah University won against Gaza Community Training College, and Palestine Technical University won against the University College of Applied Sciences.
The third round concluded with Al-Ribat University College winning the match. The event aims to foster cultural exchange and cooperation among university students.
