Under the sponsorship of the Olympic Committee, the Palestinian Duathlon Union honored the first, second, and ninth place winners from the Islamic University in the 5km running, 20km cycling, and 2.5km running categories of the Palestine Athletics Championship.
The winners from the university were also honored at the Palestine Triathlon Championship in the 750-meter swimming, 20-kilometer cycling, and 5-kilometer running categories, achieving fifth and sixth places, respectively.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Momen Al-Azazi, head of the Sports Activity Department at the Islamic University; Mr. Mohammed Abu Tair, head of the Palestinian Triathlon Union; Mr. Jameel Al-Saadoni, executive member of the Olympic Committee; a number of club and sports institution supervisors; and the honorees themselves.
