The Islamic University volleyball team emerged victorious as champions in the prestigious universities and colleges championship, organized with great fervor by the Higher Council for Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The tournament was held at Martyr Saad Sayel Hall, which was alive with the excitement and anticipation of the competing teams.
The university team faced off against the University College of Applied Sciences team in a high-stakes final match. However, the Islamic University team was undeterred by the challenge before them, displaying their incredible skill and unwavering resolve with every move. With a score of 3-0, they emerged triumphant, winning the first set 25–22, the second set 25–18, and the third set 25–22, in a clear display of athleticism and teamwork.
The closing ceremony and award ceremony were attended by a distinguished group of individuals, including Dr. Saeed Al-Ghorra, Dean of Student Affairs at the Islamic University; Dr. Moumen Al-Azazi, Head of the Sports Activities Department at the University; Dr. Ali Abu Saada, Director General of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education; Khaled Al-Jerjawi, Head of the Student Activities Department at the Ministry; Nazim Jaber, Director of the Sports Unit at the Higher Council for Youth and Sports; and Ahed Al-Namir, from the Sports Activities Department at the Islamic University; These esteemed individuals were there to honor the hard work and dedication that the Islamic University volleyball team had demonstrated throughout the championship and to celebrate their success.
