The Islamic University’s Faculty of Engineering recently concluded the 9th Engineering Technology Meeting, which took place on February 20th and 21st. The event, held in partnership with the Engineers’ Association and supported by various sponsors, aimed to showcase the latest developments and innovations in the field of engineering and technology.
During the meeting, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a series of technology and engineering workshops. These workshops covered a wide range of topics, including network security, electronic authentication, the manufacturing technology of electric wires and cables, the use of modern technologies in the efficiency of architectural space, industrial engineer work in project management, and international experiences in construction technology, among others. The workshops were led by experts in their respective fields and provided valuable insights into the latest trends and best practices in engineering.
An exhibition was also held on the sidelines of the meeting, featuring impressive projects from students, engineers, and public sector companies. The exhibition provided a platform for participants to showcase their latest innovations and technological achievements.
At the closing ceremony, the two winning projects, “Power Management” and “Design of a Center for Marine Environmental Research and Fish Wealth,” were honored for their excellence. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Khalil Al-Astal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mohammed Arafa, Head of the Engineers’ Association, sponsors of the meeting, and a number of other individuals who contributed to the success of the event.
Dr. Ahmed Abu Dabousa, head of the preparatory committee for the meeting, expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event, including the engineers, sponsoring companies, and the Engineers’ Association. He also emphasized the importance of keeping up with ongoing technological developments, as they represent the path to a brighter future.
