The Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies ended the Microsoft Teams-based postgraduate student capacity-building skills training program that ran from 30 November to 24 December 2022.
The skills program consisted of nine training sessions in which prominent Palestinian researchers from Germany, France, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Belgium participated. The training included diverse fields of scientific research, such as academic writing skills, international publishing skills in international scientific journals, rephrasing skills and the avoidance of scientific plagiarism, statistics skills, indexing and patent registration skills, qualitative research skills, and other topics that shape the researcher’s personality.
Prof. Dr. Yousef El-Jaish, Dean of Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies, lauded the Skills Program, which is held periodically by the Deanship of Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies, and emphasized that the Skills Program in its current version was distinguished by the participation of a distinguished group of Palestinian researchers in different countries around the world, constituting a unique experience that contributed to providing postgraduate students with a unique educational opportunity.
Prof. Dr. Al-Jaish praised the male and female trainers for their exemplary work throughout the training sessions and for their ingenuity in presenting their scientific and practical knowledge to their fellow postgraduate students at Palestinian universities in a creative manner.
