The Islamic University wins an international exchange project with the International Hellenic University
The Islamic University of Gaza has won an international exchange project with the International Hellenic University in Greece, funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus Plus program.
The project involves the exchange of students from the Faculty of Nursing at the Islamic University for a semester of study and academic staff from the university teaching for a week at the International Hellenic University.
Participation in these international projects aims to improve academic performance, increase learning opportunities, increase self-empowerment and self-confidence, as well as enhance career development prospects, job opportunities, cultural awareness and understanding, and the exchange of experiences. It also aims to improve foreign language competencies.
This brings the total number of international exchange projects won by the Islamic University this year to seven, with universities in Italy, Turkey, Spain, and Portugal, providing multiple exchange opportunities for university students and staff.
It is worth noting that the Islamic University has participated in over 60 international exchange projects since the beginning of the program, providing numerous opportunities for the exchange of students and staff at the university.
