Researcher Haya Al-Dardsawi, a master’s student in the Educational Administration Department, and researcher Mohammad Hatem Al-Madhoun, a PhD student in the Educational Administration Department, Faculty of Education, Islamic University of Gaza, have won first and fourth places, respectively, in the International Research Competition for the Best Scientific Research on “The Role of Research Centers in Decision Making.” The competition was organized by the Elmessiri Academy for Research and Studies in cooperation with the Academy of Refugee Studies and the Palestinian Malaysian Strategic Initiative Center (PALM).
Master’s student Al-Dardasawi won first place for her research entitled “Obstacles to Employing Results of Research Center Studies in Palestinian Political Decision Making and Ways to Reduce Them- the opinions of a sample of Palestinian university professors”, while the PhD student Al-Madhoun won fourth place for his research entitled “Obstacles to Activating the Role of Research Centers in Palestinian Decision-Making from the Viewpoint of Top Management.”
Last April, the Academy launched the competition on specific conditions, including:
- Research that ranks less than excellent after the jury’s evaluation will not be eligible for the award.
- Research plan should include the following domains: (research title, researcher name, introduction, research problem, research importance, research objectives, research axioms, research methodology, research terminology, research structure/ outline, list of suggested references, conclusion), detailed and organized.
- This is in addition to the research’s basic terms, including: submission of original, unpublished scientific research, adherence to the competition schedule, and adherence to the scientific research methodology.
