IUG Holds Engineering Day for High School Students

The Faculty of Engineering at Islamic University of Gaza held an Engineering Day for outstanding high school students in the presence of Dr. Sana Saleh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, faculty academic and administrative members, and a group of high school students.

Dr. Saleh congratulated the students and explained that Engineering Day is held by the faculty on a permanent basis to inform high school students who wish to join the engineering departments with their majors, centers, and laboratories. The Engineering Day also aims at presenting success stories of faculty graduates to encourage new students to strive hard in their studies, in addition to enlightening them with advice on choosing majors appropriate for their preferences.

Dr. Saleh spoke about the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering, its continuous excellence, its constant development, and its interest in graduating highly qualified students in engineering fields. She indicated that the faculty was keen on providing the opportunity for engineers to develop themselves and improve their performance in their educational path.

The Engineering Day featured a promo for the faculty students and a presentation of the success stories of the college graduates, such as: Dr. Walid Issa, Dr. Ashraf Hamad, and others.
