Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) has participated in the Student Forum for International Humanitarian Law for university students in the Gaza Strip for the year 2022, organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qudra, Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education; Mr. Tendai Singwe, Head of the Information Department of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC); Mr. Khaled Odwan, Director of the Department of Student Affairs and Services in Education; Mr. Khaled Al-Jerjawi, Head of the Student Activities Department; and Ms. Amani Al-Naouq, Head of ICRC Media in Gaza.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Saeed Al-Ghorra, Dean of Student Affairs Department at the Islamic University, and Mr. Ashraf Miqdad, supervisor of extracurricular activities and volunteer work in the department, and a group of university students in various disciplines.

The forum is a training program targeting 38 male and female students from universities in the Gaza Strip, namely: The Islamic University, Al-Azhar University, Al-Aqsa University, Palestine University, Ummah University, Israa University, Gaza University, and Al-Quds Open University, in several specialties: Law, Media, Medicine, and Nursing.
