The projects included rehabilitation and development programs for graduates and those working with youth in student clubs and student councils in several areas, the most important of which are: enhancing soft, functional, and technical skills necessary for the Palestinian labor market; developing creative youth in multiple managerial skills; modern strategies for building and managing volunteer work teams; qualifying young leaders; and raising the efficiency of staff and young volunteers.

This is in addition to developing young leaders and empowering those working with youth in Palestine with the basic knowledge and skills that enable them to work with young people in a professional manner, which will contribute to raising the quality of their work and increasing the chances of them having a positive impact on the lives of young people; promoting their healthy lifestyles; directing students and youth to the importance and nature of extracurricular activities (volunteer work), especially in the field of health awareness.

During the past year (2021/2022), the Alumni Affairs Department worked in the two branches of the university (Gaza and the South) to employ approximately 167 male and female graduates with permanent and temporary jobs in several sectors, and attract graduates to work on temporary employment projects inside and outside the university, as well as implementing specialized and non-specialized training programs for 920 male and female graduates. This is in addition to obtaining training and volunteering opportunities by assisting 79 male and female graduates within the institutions in the Gaza Strip, and implementing a series of awareness-raising, cultural, and political meetings in several fields in cooperation with a number of civil and international institutions. The number of male and female graduates and students who benefited from the services the Alumni Department provided during the current year reached approximately 1716 individuals.
