IUG Celebrates distributing PalMed grants

At Islamic University of Gaza, a set of grants was distributed under the project “Helping medical students in the Gaza Strip universities pay their tuition fees, 2022”, funded by the Palestinian doctors gathered in Europe (PalMed) – France Branch, supervised by Peace Club for Persons with Disabilities, and implemented by the Islamic University .

The grants distribution ceremony was attended by Dr. Fadl Naim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Muhammad Abu Nada, representative of PalMed- France Branch, Eng. Alaeddin Alhashim, Head of Resource Development Department at IUG, and a group of  beneficiaries.

Dr. Naim thanked PalMed for their continuous support of knowledge students in Palestinian universities, which has considerable impact on encouraging them to continue excellence path and achieve future aspirations from one hand,  and serving health and medical sector in Palestine by providing it with scientific and professional competencies from the other hand.

Dr. Abu Nada drew attention to the importance of supporting Palestinian youth capabilities in various fields in a way that contributes to developing their capacities and achieving progress for themselves and their society. He noted the role of youth in building the nation, pointing to the need of supporting them in order to achieve the desired goals. He also underlined the role of universities in establishing, building and rehabilitating future generations.
