Islamic University obtains membership in the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education AROQA

Islamic University of Gaza has obtained membership in the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education – AROQA, which aims, through the vision of its founder, Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, to raise the level of education in educational institutions, keep pace with recent developments, and spread a culture of quality in educational institutions, in order to provide equal and fair opportunities for quality education, and prepare institutions for local, regional and international competition.

The benefits offered by this membership to the university include receiving publications, reports and surveys of AROQA, participating in the events and activities organized by AROQA with reduced fees, adding the link to Islamic University of Gaza on the organization’s website, taking part in the meetings of General Assembly, making decisions and voting.

Prof. Dr. Abdelraouf Elmanama, Dean of Quality and Development Deanship at the Islamic University, stated that the Deanship is devoted to join international organizations and institutions concerned with quality, as that has positive impact reflecting on the development of services provided by the university to students, the local community, as well as employees within the university.
