His Excellency Consul Ahmed Mansour, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the United Kingdom, visited REACH project team of Business and Technology Incubator at Islamic University of Gaza (IUG), as part of a training program currently being implemented at Middlesex ICT University in London.
His Excellency Consul Mansour praised all the Palestinian efforts exerted in all fields, in particular the efforts currently being made in REACH project, which is managed by the Business and Technology Incubator (BTI) in addition to a group of partners and Palestinian and European universities with a total of 9 universities. He stressed his willingness to provide all facilities and support in all training requirements and future projects for Palestinian universities in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Sadiq Abdel-Aal, REACH project manager, thanked the Consul for his visit to the project team and for his tremendous support, hoping that there will be more efforts made to strengthen relations to serve Palestinian universities and youth in all countries.
The meeting included introducing the project and its activities, honoring the project team in London, and presenting training certificates from Middlesex University.
It is worth noting that the project is supported by the European Commission through Erasmus+ program within the capacity building domain in the higher education area, which aims to develop the capacities of Palestinian higher education institutions to enhance the possibility of remote employment of Palestinian graduates, in cooperation with 9 universities ,which are: A) Palestinian partners: Islamic University of Gaza, Birzeit University, An-Najah University, Palestine Polytechnic – Hebron, Al-Quds Open University – Ramallah, B) European partners: Guglielmo Marconi University in Italy, University of Alicante in Spain, Middlesex University London in Britain, University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
