IUG Distributes grants to students through Kuwait Mercy International Association

Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) celebrated the distribution of grants offered by the Kuwait Mercy International Association, as part of the project of supporting university students in universities of the Gaza Strip, and under the supervision of Resource Development Center at the Islamic University.

Dr. Khaled Al-Hallaq, Dean of External Affairs at IUG, highly appreciated the moral and material value of the grants offered to students in Palestinian universities, and expressed his hope for the continuation of giving and the provision of more grants that contribute to alleviating the burden of parents in educating their children in light of the economic conditions that the Gaza Strip is going through.

Engineer Alaaeddin Al-Hasheem, Head of Resource Development Center at IUG,  stated that the association annually provides grants to benefit needy students in universities in the Gaza Strip, and pointed out that the aim of the grants offered by Mercy International Association is to help students who are unable to complete the educational process and support them to achieve their aspirations.

Engineer Al-Hasheem also praised the efforts of Kuwait, led by the Emir of the State of Kuwait, and its keenness to provide assistance that contributes to achieving progress and advancement for the Palestinian people.
