Prof. Nasr Eddin Almuzaini passed on duties of chairing the Board of Trustees to Dr. Muhammad Saadi Alaklouk, after the end of the presidency duration for two consecutive terms according to the Islamic University system, and after the Board of Trustees selected Dr. Alaklouk to be the Chairman of the Board of Trustees in its next term.
Prof. Nasr Eddin Almuzaini completed a 7-year term as the chairman of the Board of Trustees, during which the university witnessed the implementation of numerous significant projects and expanded its international relations and academic programs as well as its programs in the field of scientific research and community service. During which the university also received several important national, regional and international awards.
During the ceremony of passing on the chairmanship of the Board of Trustees to Dr. Muhammad Alaklouk, Dr. Nasr Eddin Almuzaini wished him success in his new mission.
Dr. Muhammad Saadi Alaklouk is considered one of the prominent figures in the educational and health fields. He held the position of Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic University during the previous period. He also worked previously as a senior official in the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees – UNRWA, and was known for his extensive contributions to community work in the medical fields in many sites.
Dr. Alaklouk expressed his great thanks to the Board of Trustees for granting him the confidence to assume the chaairmanship of the Board of Trustees, stressing his readiness to exert effort and work at various levels to continue the process of development and bestowal to the Islamic University, which is one of the most prominent beacons of science in Palestine.
