Faculty of Information Technology holds “Cocktail 5” Multimedia Day

Multimedia and Web Development Department, Faculty of Information Technology at Islamic University of Gaza held Multimedia Day “Cocktail 5,” in the presence of Dr. Iyad Alshami, Faculty Dean, Dr. Ashraf Almoghari, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the Day, a group of specialists and interested people, and a large crowd of students from the faculty.

In the opening session, Dr. Alsahmi hinted that the world is experiencing new and important multimedia techniques that request IT Faculty to take  responsibility for updating students and those interested in the latest developments in those areas. He added that, through the organization of activities, the faculty seeks to develop and refine students’ skills to meet needs appropriate to the labor market.

Dr. Almoghari explained that this day was held with the aim of bringing faculty students to the latest developments in multimedia and web development, pointing out that the day was called “cocktail” because of the diversity of topics to be presented, and the diversity of work characterizing the specializations of IT Faculty.

Study Day Hubs

In the first hub entitled ” Web and Marketing”, Mrs. Majdoleen Abu Shoair addressed the hazards of hierarchical marketing, while Dr. Raed Rashid referred to WEB3.

In the second hub entitled “Motion Graphic and Montage”, Mrs. Maysaa Shalah spoke about motion graphics it terms of developments and techniques. Furthermore, Mr. Yahya Zainedden discussed visual and audio effects, while Mrs. Nada Shama reviewed the motion-graphic projects of students in the faculty.

In the third hub entitled “Virtual Reality”, Mr. Osama Alreqeb demonstrated virtual reality games, while Mr. Abdullah Abu Alatta discussed Metaverse. In the end, Mr. Amir Altilbani presented the 3D-Modeling projects of students.
