Student Affairs Deanship at Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) held Students’ Talent Show Festival in the Big Conference Hall, with the presence of Student Affairs staff, festival participants, and large audience of students.
Mr. Abdulrahman Almaqadma, Director of Students Affairs Deanship, addressed that the festival was launched to show the talents of students, shed light on them for sponsorship opportunities, and provide support and encouragement to keep it advancing, noting that the celebration aimed at alleviating the psychological burdens on students, given the crises affecting Palestinian society.
The festival featured a review of many student talents and creative acts, most notably: prophetic praise, Quran recitation using Maqams, theatrical characterization of legal persons, folk Dabka, Olympic and sports games, Islamic chant and storytelling.
At the end of the celebration, students participating in the festival were honored, gifts and awards were distributed to the winners.
