A delegation from Community Development Institute at Community Service and Continuing Education Deanship, IUG, visited the Directorate General of Human Resources Development at the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Prof. Alaadin Aljomasi, Dean of Community Service, spoke about the Institute’s services in conducting training for different groups in society, demonstrating his willingness to share experiences and training with the Ministry of Health.
Dr. Mohammed Zakout, Director General of HR Development at the ministry, explained the importance of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the academic institutions in improving health services for citizens.
The two parties discussed the implementation of several training programs to upgrade the Ministry’s health crews in administrating and delivering services, as well as the implementation of specialized programs in management and computer.
At the conclusion of the visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed to execute the professional diploma in Quality Management for a number of employees in the ministry. The memorandum outlines the cooperation and program implementation mechanisms between Directorate General of Human Resources Development and Community Service Deanship at IUG. This comes in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s vision of developing its staff members in planning and quality aspects.
