According to the international publishing house” Elsevier” and Stanford University study, Prof. Sofyan Tayeh, Professor of Theoretical Physics, and Dr. Bassam Tayeh, Associate Professor at department of Civil Engineering, have been ranked among top 2% of researchers around the world.
The study relied on a set of criteria that reflect excellence in international scientific publishing in terms of: number of scientific researches at international publishing houses, and number of citations undertaken by researchers in a specific period of time. The study also depended on partnership and international cooperation standards of the researcher in terms of: number of researches published in partner with international universities, and diversity of international publication.
These two academics have considerable volume of research papers that annually published in eminent scientific journals classified within the Scopus and Web of Science databases. They also have a large number of research papers published in partnership and cooperation with eminent international universities.
Prof. Sofyan and Dr. Bassam haver recently received the IUG Excellence Award in International Publication in terms of number of researches published in one year in eminent international databases, where Dr. Bassam ranked first, and Prof. Sofyan ranked third. It is worth mentioning that both academics received a number of scientific awards through the past few years.
