The IEEE branch of the International Electrical and Electronics Engineers Association (IEEE) has launched the IEEEmadC International Smartphone Development Competition at the Islamic University, Faculty of Engineering.
The event was supervised by a team of students and graduates of the Computer and Electrical Engineering Departments at the Islamic University, and funded by the UCAS Technology Incubator.
The IEEE- branch team had held a number of workshops to follow up the succession of the competition and helping the participants in writing and refining their ideas’ suggestions. Other workshops were held to present the ideas and give the participants the needed feedback, through a special committee of experts in the field of applications and smartphones, to develop their skills in order to participate in the IEEEmadC competition. The participants were also granted a free membership in the IEEE association website.
It’s worth mentioning that the registration and presentation of ideas are still open until the 15th of October, after which the team will start working and following up with the participants as planned. There will also be special workshops under the supervision of application and smartphone experts to guide the participants throughout the process of creating a globally competitive smartphone app.
