New Corner for Books of Energy-Efficient Building

 

Vice-President for Administrative Affairs Prof. Ahmed Muhaisen, with an Engineering staff from the University, have inaugurated a new corner at the IUG library to be specialized for the books of energy-efficient building. This corner has, initially, contained more than (160) brand-new books, which comes as part of the activities of CBEEB project for energy-efficient buildings.  

The books will be available for both bachelor and master students, as well as researchers and academics from different universities. Prof. Muhaisen emphasized the importance of having these books in the walls of the library, confirming that these books will contribute to promoting the culture and awareness about energy-efficient buildings in Gaza, besides making a real and tangible advancement in the scientific research.


Head of Engineering Faculty Prof. Sana Saleh praised the great work of Appear and explained that the books will be a prominent academic supporter and and a milestone for all students and researchers in the field of energy. She added, “We need these modern-day books to inform students about every new in the field of energy, hoping to form a solid scientific base for all.”

 

It’s worth mentioning that CBEEB project has been managed by the IUG Engineering Faculty in collaboration with the Faculty of Architectural Sciences of the Technical University of Vienna, Austria; and with generous fund from the Austrian Partnership programme in higher education and scientific research for development, and the Austrian Development Cooperation Foundation (ADC).
