Irada Trainees’ Breakthroughs Blossom in a Project’s Conclusion

 

Persons with disabilities celebrated their success at the end of Taawon vocational training project.

The IUG Conference Hall has witnessed launching a big ceremony honoring persons with disabilities’ success out of a vocational training funded by Taawon Institution.

 Throughout the vocational training, the IUG Irada Center for rehabilitation and vocational training has worked for four months- four hours per day-on training 150 persons with disabilities in the fields of Smart phones’ Programming and Maintenance, Carpentry, Electrical and Solar extensions, Maintenance of Transformers and Electric Pumps and Aluminum Products Industry.

IUG President Farahat said: “The Islamic University is proud to be the only Arab institution that provides education and training services for people with disabilities”.

The General Director of Taawon Foundation Tafeeda Al-Jarbawi emphasized that Taawon Foundation works to provide students with skills, values and knowledge. The foundation has loads of joint cooperation and partnerships and Irada is one of the most important centers. Working with Irada, Taawon concentrates on youths as a smart investment of development.

On behalf of graduates’ trainees, Mohammed Shabat confirmed that all enrolled trainees are suffering wounds out of wars and his peers are a good example of determination, challenge and steadfastness.

He was showing his satisfaction over the training programme, thanking Islamic University and Taawon Foundation for their keen to support and grab the society’s attention about persons with disabilities.
