Students Showed Satisfaction Out of Turkish Grant

IUG students who were uncapable of fulfilling their tuition have just received a generously funded scholarship from the Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı.

The IUG Dean of Foreign Affairs has convened the “Annual Sponsorship for needy students at Islamic University” which is a grants-distributing ceremony for IUG students who stumble with tuition during their learning journey. These grants have been funded by the Turkish Religious Waqf and the Turkish Government for three years, respectively.

Beside the main goal of the grants to Blocking the deficit of tuition, the Vice-Dean of Foreign Affairs Prof. Hisham Madi Said: this grant help prepare the students enter the labor market with active skills and knowledge.  

The students during the ceremony showed their satisfaction and happiness over the good news of continuing the scholarships this year. The grants are reliable on the students’ performance in their academic field.

One of Engineering students happily said that this grant has altered his life upside down; he proceeded from degree B to A in university marks as it pushed his enthusiasm to go on stronger with education.  

Another student expressed her gratitude to the Turkish Government for this great opportunity that let her continue with the faculty of Education which she loves most.
