Palestinian Book On Public Health Is In Demand

First of its kind in the Arab World

 IUG Dean of Public Health Prof. Yousef Aljeesh in cooperation with Prof. Yehia Abed, the founder of Public Health Faculty at Al- Quds University, have issued a book entitled, “Community Medicine and Public Health”. The 800-pages book is currently taught to IUG and Al- Quds students, handling topics related to the community and public health. Nearly 300 pages about Evidence-based Medicine lay the foundation for the book, while the rest of the book tackling different medical issues.  

What distinguishes this book to be reckoned unparalleled to other same-field books is that it is fed with in-Palestine-applied scientific research and topics of great importance. Indeed, this merit will pave the road for researchers and students to deal properly with the Palestinian health sector. Plus, it will widen the conception about the health sector and help reach the experience to other universities. The most appreciated thing is that the public health sector at Chicago University has required a copy of this book to be taught to its students.
