Under the patronage of the Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah, Faculty of Medicine has successfully finished the events’ series of the 7th Scientific Conference. The events took place at the Hall Conference for two days in the presence of IUG President Prof. Nasser Farahat, Dean of Medicine Faculty Prof. Fadel Naeem, a bunch of local and international representatives from medical foundations alongside masses of students and interested people. At the closing ceremony, distinguished students and supportive foundations have been awarded while Participators recommended the following:
· End Occupation and lift siege NOW.
· Develop a Unified emergency national response plan for all sectors in light of available financial and human resources.
· Better coordination between, INGOs and MOH, local & international NGOs for more effective delivery of services.
· Adopt an ethical & Professional approach towards Disaster Management.
· Use reliable & up-to-date data for better decision making that is based on need rather than interests.
· Continue and expand the capacity building programs for the new generations.
· Provision of fully -equipped and readily available shelters in various areas.
· Proper documentation and management of the prohibited white phosphorus injuries.
· Start comprehensive training in waste management during disasters and emergency.
· Make use of advanced training tools such as the virtual reality disaster training.
