UNICEF German National Committee Visits Nursing Faculty

A delegation from UNICEF German National Committee accompanied with representatives from Gaza Office following to UNICEF have visited IUG Nursing Faculty to follow- up developments of Pediatric, Maternity, Groth and development courses to meet the UNICEF modules. IUG Nursing Faculty is in charge of this program in terms of coordinating & Following up with other Gaza Nursing Faculties.

The delegation has been hosted by the Dean of Nursing Faculty, Prof. Yusuf Aljeesh, included Dr. Richard Hill, Dr. Valiska Lamberti, from UNICEF German National Committee, and Dr. Selena, Chair of UNICEF Health and Nutrition. Additionally to members from UNICEF Gaza office Prof. Amani Badwan, Chair of Health and Nutrition at the office accompanied with Prof. Yunus Awad.

 The visiting delegation praised all of the university efforts exerted to succeeding the common programs with UNICEF. Prof. Al-Jaish after welcoming the visiting delegation has discussed ways of opening new cooperative prospects with the faculty.

It is noteworthy that UNICEF German National Committee is one of the most important donors of UNICEF and has provided financial support to a large number of programs implemented by the United Nations Fund for Palestine.
