Over Skype, IUG held a workshop with Graz University entitled of “Defining Procedures & Necessary Resources for Enhancing Higher Education Institutions in Women & Equality Field”. It is included in “Improving Capabilities of Higher Education Institutions” project that is funded by Appear Program. A raft of IUG Academics, representatives from Gaza universities and Woman Ministry have been attending the workshop.
Prof. Sanaa Abu Dagga, Assistant Vice President for scientific research affairs, praised the Project’s importance in strengthening IUG-Graz University true partnership in Women field. Moreover, offer necessary support to woman issues, and help to get the true understanding of her issues in different cultural contexts.

Engineer and researcher Hala Alzabeda introduced a presentation about Woman situation in Palestine according to the current challenges. Dr. Bassam Bushnaq, from Shari’a and law department, made a presentation about the legal clinic, showing IUG Experience in the field of women and Equality.
