Awarding of High-School Disabled students On Their Success& Willpower

The Centre for Disability Services at IUG celebrated the awarding of (110) disabled students who have successfully passed high school exam. The ceremony was generously funded by Mr. Falah Salim Waked, and held in the General Conference at IUG, where a set of the university administrators, as well as, a number of representatives of external institutions concerning with disabilities have participated awarding students in their success.

Dr. Nasser Farahat, IUG president, confirmed on the university role in supporting disabled through suitable services of Deanship of Continuing Education, mentioning the ongoing endeavors of our university to address their needs.  Dr. Farahat welcomed new & old disabled and expressed his appreciation to these students who have challenged difficulties, headed to the distention of success, and will have stayed constant to it.

On behalf of her colleagues, Asmaa Abu Helal recited the distinguished students’ word, thanking Islamic University for attention, and revealing that ambition alongside willpower are the sward of every disabled, for they are components of success.

 During the ceremony, many successful stories were being appreciated; one of them was to Iman Irqeq, A hearing- impairment graduate from creative technology specialization. She spoke about the importance of this specialization, which greatly assisted her as a teacher of kindergarten& primary students during her work with “our children” institution for the deaf.

The ceremony was filled with determination & hope that derived from students’ extraordinary self-empowerment whom .finally were given gifts & certificates on that
