Turkish Ambassador Visits  IUG

Gorjan Turk Oglu, The Turkish Ambassador in Palestine, has praised IUG’s academic and research development and appreciated its students’ determination despite their suffering.  He also pointed out that the Turkish contributions are small in comparison with the Palestinians’ steadfastness and determination and expressed the Turkish appreciation for IUG at the official and institutional level.

The ambassador was hosted by Prof. Nasr Addin Al- Mzaini, Chairman of IUG Board of Trustees, and senior officials of IUG.

For his part, Prof. Al-Mzaini praised the Turkish position on the Palestinian Institutions, and pointed out that there are many significant Turkish contributions  to IUG including Irada Project and the Turkish Palestinian Friendship Hospital.

Al- Mzaini also talked about the strong relations between IUG and many institutions in and outside Palestine, and the societal development projects in which the University takes part.

On the other hand, Prof. Adel Awad Allah showed Oglu IUG academic, scientific and constructional development, such as its care for students with hearing disabilities, attracting deaf students to study in IUG and Irada Project. He also talked about Gaza Strip Crises including the siege that affects all life aspects in Gaza strip.

The ambassador visited IUG museum, Irada Project and Turkish Palestinian Hospital.
