A research team from Chemistry Department, IUG Faculty of Science won a donation by TWAs aiming at making a scientific research about organic chemistry and its medical applications. The donation will cover two scholarships for the students to get MA in organic chemistry.
The rsearch project that won is about preparing a new group of Organic ringed heterogeneous compounds containing Albermaidin and Altirazaan, and studying their biological activeness and ability to resist cancer.
The research team includes, Prof. Adel Awad Allah, Dr. Rami Marjan, Dr. Hani Ferwanah, Dr. Mazen Azzaharnah, and Dr. Ehab Al- Masri.
It is worth to say that TWAS provides many research and scientific donations on different natural sciences, and researchers and experts of developed countries including Palestine compete for this donation.
