He seems to be as any normal man as you see him for the first time. Spending much time with this famous creative deaf man, you will recognize that disability is not an obstacle preventing any one from investing his supernatural creativity. Mahmoud Abu Namous, who became deaf due to a medical fault proved that it is not important to live in total welfare to approve yourself, but you only need to be yourself, with that high determination.
Abu Namous, who was born within a big family, and lived the same situations of Gazan youth, broke the siege of his disability and proved that with your determination, you can be whatever you wish to be.
The 28 year-old Gazan man said, ” Despite all bad circumstances I suffered since I was young, I believed that I have to work within my society and have my situation among all men.”
The War won’t break his well
Abu Namous still remembers that day, when one of basis of his life was destroyed. in the last war on Gaza, the Zionists bombed his family house, where his flat was existing. About that miserable day, he said, ” I woke up on that day, and saw how my family was afraid. I saw them speaking, but I didn’t hear them understood that I will watch my home destroying, and this is what happened. Despite this, I didn’t and I won’t destroy my hope. I joined IUG computer creativity major, and participated in many training curses for deaf people.
Challenge and Determination
After two years of studying, Mahmoud started to train many societal situations including officials and university students. He also attends all conferences about Human Rights especially that is concerned with deaf people.
Mahmoud is willing to keep on training and working with the largest number of institutions concerned with deaf people. He also wishes to be representative of deaf people.
