IUG has launched the international week to raise awareness of antibiotics with a press conference held at the Press House. The events of the International Week to Raise Awareness of Antibiotics are scheduled to continue till 20th Noveber 2016.
The launch was attended by Prof. Abdul Raouf Almnaamh- IUG Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies and the representative of e-bug in Palestine, Dr. Fadel Naim, Dean of the IUG Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Mahmoud Dhaher, Director of the Office of the World Health Organization in Gaza, and other interested people

Prof. Abdul Raouf Almnaamh said that the main aim of launching the International Week is to motivate people to engage in better practices and raise awareness of antibiotics, noting that antibiotics have an important role in the improvement of public health sector in Palestine.
Prof. Almanaamh also announced that IUG in collaboration with academic, non-governmental, and public institutions has organised the events of the International week which includes scientific lectures, text massages, posters, social media campaigns, among other activities.
