IUG graduate wins Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Asabbah  Informatics Award in Kuwait

Mohammed Mofid Al-Banna, IUG graduate from IT Faculty, won the Award of Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Asabbah in its sixteenth session 2016 in Kuwait. This  award is concerned with the best technical projects in the Arab World. Al-Banna won his project “Softbrail” which concerns a keyboard for blind and visually impaired people.

Softbrail project was introduced by the Initiative International Summit Award to represent Palestine, after being chosen among the best seven applications in Palestine, and a candidate to compete in the international Summit Award.

It is worth mentioning that this year Palestine won 2 out of 10 of Sheikh Salem Al- Ali Asabbah informatics  Award.
