IUG will start a new supported research project titled ” Strengthening Higher Education Capacities in Palestine for Gender Equalities” , which is supported by Austrian Appear program.
The application for the project was done through a dedicated team consisting of Prof. Sanaa Abu Dagga , Assistant to Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. Ketham Sahhar- faculty member in the Faculty of Education, Dr. Basem Boshnaq, the Faculty of Sharia & Law, and engineer Amani Almkadmh- coordinator of academic partnerships at the university, and in partnership with University of Graz in Austria.
The project aims at supporting capacity building in Palestinian higher education and research for rigorous gender analysis to promote its relevance in economic, development, political, social and scientific areas.
The project aims also to advance new interdisciplinary knowledge which connects academic and scientific research with the real Palestinian problems and context.
