Ms. Sinuna Hollein- midwifery specialist at the Norwegian Aid Foundation(NORWAC) visited the Faculty of Nursing Midwifery department, at IUG.

Ms. Hollein was accompanied by Eman Hijazi- from the Norwegian Aid Organization. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, senior staff members and a number of students.
The visit came as a follow up to the Higher Diploma program for clinical oversight at the university in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and funded by the Norwegian aid, which aims to develop the administrative and cognitive skills for midwifery supervisors in the Strip’s hospitals.
Ms. Hollein was informed of the final stage of the program and the outputs of the student’s achievements. She was impressed with the positive results of the program on the students’ performance, adding that there is an interest to implement similar projects in the future to develop the performance of the Ministry of health and the nursing departments.
