Professor Adel Awadallah, President of the Islamic University of Gaza, received Dr. Kristen Welbner, representative of the German Academic Exchange Service’s (DAAD) office in Palestine.
Professor Awadallah reiterated the strong relationship between IUG and DAAD foundation which has benefited many students and faculty members in their higher education endeavors. He encouraged IUG’s faculty members to seek Master and PhD degrees as well as to engage in various academic programmes from renowned German universities as a way to enrich their academic experience.
As part of his visit to IUG, Dr. Welbner Conducted an Info Session on Daad Scholarship for students from different Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip interested in doing their master degree in Germany.
