The External Relations Office at the Islamic University held a seminar to introduce the Austrian Partnership Programme aPPeaR. Attending the meeting were Dr. Ahmed Muhaisen- assistant to Vice President for External Relations, engineer Amani Almaqadmah, academic partnerships coordinator, and a group of specialists and interested parties from all university faculties and university departments.

Dr. Muhaisen introduced the Partnership Programme’s objectives, fields and activities and pointed out that the university is expected to present more than ten projects within this programme.
Interested teams from various faculties and departments presented a summary of their proposals to the partnership programme. Some modifications were made to fit the vision and objectives of the programme as well as motivating and directing teams to work on projects best suitable for their line of work.
The Islamic University has won a project funded by aPPeaR programme in the field of energy-saving buildings submitted by the Faculty of Engineering
