The Faculty of Medicine at IUG signed a cooperation agreement with the Forum of Palestinian Doctors in Europe-UK Branch to establish a training centre for emergency medicine and crisis and disasters management.

The agreement signed by Dean of Faculty of Medicine Dr. Fadel Naeem and the director of the Forum’s office in Gaza Dr. Ahmed Abu Nada on behalf of Dr. Reyad Al-Masharqa, Head of PalMed UK branch.
The two signing parties agreed to act jointly to establish a specialised training centre in emergency medicine and crises management with the aim of developing capacities of all segments of the Palestinian society to deal with disasters, crises and emergency to increase the quality of dealing with critical situations in their different forms to meet the Palestinian society’s needs.

IUG President Prof. Adel Awadallah who met Dr. Ahmed Abu Nada thanked PalMed Europe for their cooperation with IUG, noting that the University is continuously exerting efforts to improve the quality of the medical sector in Palestine.
