Switzerland Ambassador to the PA His Excellency Mr. Paul Garnier appreciated the scope of progress Islamic University of Gaza has achieved in various fields.
Mr. Garnier was briefed on the accelerating developments undertaken by IUG in its educational infrastructure and academic programmes as well as in its expansive external relations with higher education institutions and associations all over the world.
During a tour in computer labs, he observed first-hand IUG’s premier experience in integrating classes of students with hearing disabilities through offering them professional diploma programmes in creative design and smart devices maintenance.
Chairman of IUG’s Board of Trustees Dr. Nasr Al-Din Muzaini and IUG President Dr. Adel Awadallah welcomed Mr. Garnier and pointed out that the University has been rigorously working to expand its network of ties with various regional and international academic institutions and that IUG is making significant accomplishments in its academic activities and service to the local community.
