Through generous funding from the Turkish Red Crescent, IUG inaugurated four computer labs which will serve more than 20,000 students in their studies, research work and course registration.
Head of the delegation of Turkish Red Crescent delegation in Gaza, Mr. Beit Waltshi, accompanied by Dr. Nasr Al-Din Al-Muzaini- IUG Board of Trustees Chairman , Dr. Adel Awadallah, IUG President , and other university senior staff opened four computer labs which were equipped through a generous contribution from the Turkish Red Crescent Society.
Dr. Al-Muzaini thanked the Turkish delegation for Turkey’s constant support of the Palestinian people and their educational institutions, noting the positive educational outcomes achieved from such education-based support especially in improving educational performance and enhancing the skills of the beneficiaries of the provided services.
IUG President, Professor Adel Awadallah, appreciated the great efforts made by the Turkish Red Crescent and pointed out that the computer labs which were opened will contribute to strengthening the academic infrastructure at the university . He stressed that the Islamic University appreciates her friends’ efforts and that their contributions have had clear impact on the process of education at the university.
